Whilst every effort is made to maintain advertised services, the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway does not guarantee that trains will arrive at the times stated in the event of breakdown or other obstruction of service, and reserves the right to cancel, alter or suspend any train without notice and accepts no liability for any loss, inconvenience or delay. Full payment must be made prior to completing your journey and may be done so by personal cheque (with guarantee), cash, Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Electron.
Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway regrets that all bookings are final and no amendments can be made, and in the event of cancellation by the customer no refund will be given. Please pay attention to train departure times and allow adequate time for travel to the railway station, parking (if applicable) and boarding the train. In the event of missed departures the booking will be deemed cancelled and no refund will be given.
Where Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway cancels, for whatever reason, and an alternative cannot be offered, there shall be no penalty or administration charge and a refund in full (if applicable) shall be made within twenty (20) working days of such a cancellation being advised and confirmed. As a general rule, bookings will be accepted at face value at the time of booking. However proof of any concession entitlement claimed may be requested at any time during fulfilment of the booking. Failure to produce such evidence upon request may result in the concession being withdrawn and payment being requested amounting to the difference between what has already been paid and the full published adult price.
