A special weekend for the railway enthusiast with all of our working locomotives in steam. 

Special trains, sales stands and extra attractions.  Coincides with nearby Garden Railways exhibition.

 

THIS YEAR’S SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDE:

The return of THE RESITA after major overhaul.

All the Company's working locomotives in steam

Mixed trains with Pickering Carriages and Goods Wagons

Double-headed trains and goods trains

Locomotive workshops open with an exhibition of models and railway art

Display of Traction Engines, Working Models and the most intricate of Mechanical Contrivances

Night photography at Llanfair on Saturday

Railway Bookstalls

Garden Railway Exhibition at Llanfair Caereinion Leisure Centre

Teas and other refreshments
