WELSHPOOL & LLANFAIR

LIGHT RAILWAY

50th Anniversary Gala

31st August & 1st September 2013

Photo: Ivo Peters

British Railways operated its last train from Welshpool to Llanfair Caereinion on 3rd November 1956.  On 6th April 1963 the first passenger trains of a new era started to operate over part of the line.  In our 50th year of preserved passenger train operation we'd like you to come and share in the celebration of our achievements to-date.

PRS for Music licences the use of copyright music across the UK, giving businesses and organisations the legal permission they need to play the music they want.

These licences ensure that music publishers, songwriters and composers are fairly rewarded with royalties so they can keep making music - and mean that we’re able to support music at events like this.
